Ken Notes: I like the Bad River Band, but the contract is pretty solid. They could gain far more by negotiating a replacement/upgrade that better protected the sensitive lands while infusing capital into other tribal environmental interests.
If the governor of Michigan can not stop the line in an area far more sensitive, the chance that the tribe will succeed is very slim.
