Solar outlook brightens in Wisconsin


Madison— Coming off the biggest year yet for solar power in Wisconsin, advocates and utilities expressed optimism for more growth in 2016.

The state added 7 megawatts of solar generation last year, more than any prior year, and it's possible that at least that much solar could be built this year, said Tyler Huebner, executive director of Renew Wisconsin.
