A select group of corn and potato
growers from Wisconsin will be contacted by USDA officials this fall in
an effort to collect data on production practices in the state. The
National Agricultural Statistics Service will begin conducting its
annual Agricultural
Resource Management Survey in October and November.State Agriculture Statistician Greg Bussler says the research serves as the primary source of information on the use of crop protection chemicals, ensuring that the Environmental Protection Agency and other regulators use real-world data when making decisions about the future availability of these products.
