Evergreen Credit Union lives up to its name

There are so many solar panels on the rooftop at Evergreen Credit Union in Neenah that it`s hard to find a bare spot on the roof.

What`s striking is how the panels face multiple directions. The panels are on the south-facing roof, as is the case with most solar projects. But some also fill up parts of the roof that face east and west.

Evergreen used to be a credit union for employees at a paper mill along the Fox River. Today, those 196 solar panels are making a statement about Evergreen`s quest to become the greenest financial institution in the nation....
