

RACINE — All businesses in the greater Racine area are invited to a free, two-hour Energy Conservation Symposium sponsored by the new Racine Sustainable Business Network. The purpose of the event, set for 7-9 a.m. April 19 in the Racine Room at Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints hospital, is to promote energy conservation by showcasing resources available to businesses to lower energy usage and costs. The network is an initiative of Greening Greater Racine, “an inclusive environmental movement of people, organizations, businesses, and government leaders working to inspire, educate, and motivate people to take action to make a healthier and more sustainable Racine area now and in the future.”... ...more
