Walker gives green light to Wisconsin nukes

Gov. Scott Walker has signed into law a bill that would lift Wisconsin’s ban on new nuclear plants.

Under prior law, regulators could not approve a new nuclear plant unless a federal facility for storing waste exists and the plant doesn’t burden ratepayers.
