The first-ever Sustainable Eau Claire Awards issued by Eau Claire’s Advisory Commission on Sustainability will recognize individuals, businesses and organizations committed to sustainability.
Selection areas include, but are not limited to, cleanup or beautification, environmental education, green building design, transportation innovations and waste reduction, composting or recycling.
Applications are due by 5 p.m. Friday, March 4. An award ceremony will be held April 22, which is Earth Day.
